Sharing the Hurt!Sam Love in our special 'Fan of Letters' batcave!

Due to the overwhelming amount of delicious hurt!Sam we are getting, the mods here at spn_littlebro have decided to pull an emergency group discussion with the rest of our fellow hurt!Sam lovers!

Nothing is better than sharing your hurt!Sam love with another, right? Well, that is what this post is for. This is a discussion meme about our most favorite thing in the world: HURT SAM \0/

So pull up a chair, grab yourself a coffee and a cake from the buffet and let's chat about our obsessions, hopes and dreams before the season finale.

When did you start watching Supernatural? I started watching Supernatural when the pilot was mid in air, specifically the bridge scene and I feel in love ever since.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? Honestly, I'm not sure. But I can name the specific episode which was Skin. after that I seemed to be LOOKING forward to any and all hurt!Sam episode. It was so vivid in my mind I had dreams about it (lets note I was 12 at this time) I thought I was a weirdo, I even wrote some of my first fanfiction about it in my journals I now treasure despite my horrible writing. Once we got a computer I found the website: limp-sam which opened my door way to others who are just like me and I found out, hey I'm not so weird after all. Now I embrace it.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Some of my favorites include: Hunted, Skin, Home, Simon Said Plucky's Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie, Born Again Identity, Hello Cruel World, Bad Day At Black Rock, After School Special etc. There is A LOT more but these are the ones off the top of my head.
Favorite type of hurt? I like vivid injuries like wounds/bleeding. Something tangible ya know? I mean Sam's been shot but we've never got the ramifications of it,the H/C, worried babbling Dean as he sews Sam up. That is something I REALLY want to see is the H/C afterward
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Tie between As Time Goes By and Pac-Man Fever
What would you like to see happen in the finale? I would like to see Sam and Dean working on the same page, continuing on with this new phase in their relationship where they are may caring, brotherly, concerned with one another. Let's not beat around the bush the first half of Season 8 was horrible, even some episode after were crappy. After these last what? 3? Maybe? It feels like the SAM AND DEAN we all know. Not those pompous, cold-hearted pricks early in the season, Really, let whatever else happen to the storyline I'm just really concerned with Sam and Dean remaining in character.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? I'm trying to be happy since this is a discussion meme so, let's see maybe a little less angels? I've been over the angels being the 'dick with wings' scenario a very long time ago. I'm very happy Castiel has his own storyline and is experiencing development AND has been interacting with Sam, so since Misha is a regular let's keep that rolling because I hate it when Castiel is simply there for no reason or is used as deus ex machina. More hugs, more Dean expressing himself. I hope to see Charlie, Garth and Kevin again. And can we please not have Crowley as the big bad AGAIN? Jeez the boys can kill the devil but Crowley remains a thorn in their side? I'm looking for a real big bad again, something that's going to take a lot of their power to defeat.

When did you start watching Supernatural? It was during my spring break during the first week of April of last year (2012) because I had seen an increase of it on my dash on Tumblr last year and decided to try it out. I had been aware of the show for years, but I just never drew up enough interest to watch it. Now I regret that a lot.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? Well, like all of my favorite characters that I develop, I like watching them in pain for pretty much no grand, intricate reason. And the fact that I admitted a long time ago to myself that I have very intense sadistic tendencies and often, they play out in characters that I like, which in turn, becomes a product of those behaviors.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? I'll go with top five: Pac Man Fever, Skin, Jump The Shark, Meet the New Boss, and The Born-Again Identity.
Favorite type of hurt? Physical. Usually anything that involves Sam with physical injuries and Dean patching him up, all with their usual banter.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Tie between Pac Man Fever and Trial and Error.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? I just want the angel plot line to be finished--honestly, it feels like that plot has been stretched thin, like the writers aren't sure what to do without some form of angel interference. I want Castiel to have a place, not seem like he's just there. I would like for Sam and Dean to be back together, working together, finishing each others' thoughts and sayings, and to erase all that happened in the first half of this season because that... that was just really, really, really terrible writing.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? All I crave is more in-character plot lines, nothing like the really out of place first half of this season. I want the brothers to open up to each other, to talk about unresolved problems that they may have buried away--and then nice hugs. I want Castiel's character to find his place, find a purpose. Less big bads that have this sense grand of humor that distracts the viewers from their original purpose (like Crowley) 'cause while that's great, most people don't take them seriously.

Yes, or if they must continue with it at least give them something interesting. Nothing can top the angel conflict during Season 4 and 5. Now they've just been dragging along since then, getting their asses handed to them by other beings. I thought angels were powerful? And continuing on with them as is, is only ruining the image of their characters. If that makes sense. If we MUST keep the angel plotline let's re-work it and come up with something interesting

When did you start watching Supernatural? From the start!
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? I think it was when Sam was being choked by a power cord in Home. For me the hurt means the most when Dean is involved some how. Dean's desperate attempt to save Sam was just as wonderful as seeing our poor boy fight for his life.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Oooh...favourite eh? Hmm..probably Jump the Shark. Though Born Again Identity has to be up there also. Then there's always When the Levee Breaks....
Favorite type of hurt? In fic it would have to be kidnapping (not enough kidnapping fic in around!), but in the show it's when Sam is suffering and Dean is there to help - like in Point of No Return or most recently Pac Man Fever.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? As Time Goes By. It introduced The Men of Letters, the bat cave, Henry. Also loved Goodbye Stranger, Everybody Hates Hitler and Pac Man Fever. Loved Sam killing the hell hound n Trial and Error...<33
What would you like to see happen in the finale? Oh boy. I haven't given it a lot of thought because I don't want to be disappointed. All I really want is for it to be a strong, well written episode. I'd like to see the boys working together..or, if they aren't, they aren't for a GOOD reason. I would like to see them do something interesting with what's happening to Sam. I want Dean to be very much a part of the final trial. On the hurt!Sam front - I don't ask for much... Dean holding Sam and brushing his hair off his face (you know, the fanfic stuff..)...:)
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? Hmmm....lots of good, solid MoTW stories with the boys being awesome together. Some great new OCs. Adam considered at some point. SHERIFF MILLS!! Some Cas and Sam bonding time. Dean continuing to become one with himself and being kickass awesome. Sam doing something that reconciles the "not looking" story line (or not. If it's forgotten forever I'm happy with that...;D).

Definitely. That's why episodes like Jump the Shark (forgot that one on mine!) are so great because we see some H/C from Dean. I hate the ones where Sam is all beat up then we phase to the next day and he's fine! While the fanfic we get in between is amazing I really want to see some H/C

When did you start watching Supernatural? Ever since the pilot aired in my country. That's about 2006.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? Actually I love both of them hurt but Sam more so. When Sam's hurt Dean's awesome.

Favorite type of hurt? Physical injuries and emotional ones. Especially when there's h/c afterwards.

What would you like to see happen in the finale? Sam hurts so badly and Dean is taking care of him/saving him. Or Dean goes to sacrifice himself to save Sam but Sam held on to him and they do it together or die together.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? Just the return of lots and lots of bro-ments. Purgatory is an underdeveloped storyline so, it'll be cool to expand on that. Where's Chuck and God?

When did you start watching Supernatural? Season one. I've been hooked since they walked into the hotel room at the beginning of Provenance, looked at the decor and went, "Huh" together.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? Well first, he just wears whump so well. But what drew me even more was what a whumped Sam did to Dean. As macho as Dean is...he mostly only really shows his pain when Sam is hurting. I am such a sucker for hurt!Sam, awesome big brother!Dean.

What drew you to love hurt!Sam? I love it when my favorites are hurt and bleeding on the floor.

When did you start watching Supernatural? The first episode I saw was the last 10 minutes of "Bloody Mary" on TNT one morning. Sam's eyes bleeding, the creepy Mary chick. It was after the Season 5 finale, so.....June 2010!
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? After that episode I began recording and watching the repeats on TNT, then I thought, hmmmm the X-files (my first obsession) had fan fic, I bet Supernatural does too!! I googled and found fanfiction.net and omg!!! Thousands of stories!!! I found that hurt Sam stories, plus that wonderful hurt face that Sam has just really got to me. I mean, Dean is the stoic older brother and Sam is just so Sam. I remember watching as Sam teared up... Houses of the Holy, then his death in All Hell Breaks Loose, I was hooked right there!
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)?wow, um, Free to Be You and Me, Pac-Man Fever, Meet the New Boss, Like a Virgin, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Mystery Spot, Hello Cruel World... I could name most of the eight seasons.
Favorite type of hurt? I think mostly for me it's the psychological trauma, unhinged, barely hanging on there Sam. I really enjoy watching Sam as he struggles with himself. I have had these conversations with my husband (who doesn't watch the show) but imagine Sam, raised as a hunter, really not wanting that life, wanting normal, and he escapes to Stanford, finds Jess, then his past comes and kicks his ass. Then, omg visions, wtf, and the demon wants him (and children like him) being stuck in the middle of Dean begging Sam to not shoot John(with YED in him) and John demanding that he does, then the results of him not killing the YED is Dean in a coma and John sacrifices himself to keep Dean alive. that's just seaon one!! Sam has some serious stuff he's dealing with. And I love love love to see that either in fanfic or on the show!!
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Pac-Man Fever definitely, so far!!
What would you like to see happen in the finale? Guh, I just want it to be good!! Like Swan Song good, like the Man Who Knew Too Much good!! sitting on the edge of my seat, screaming at the TV good!
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? So there's all these tablets, Hell tablets, Heaven tablets, there may be Purgatory tablets, Alpha tablets, Mother of All tablets, who knows how much is out there!! I just want the boys to be saving people, hunting things, the family business, with all the brotherly love and concern!!

What is he thinking? Is he aware of what's going on? That Dean is holding him, does he know that he's dying? Guh, seriously probably the first point where I teared up watching this show!!

When did you start watching Supernatural? It was in the summer of 2009. I marathoned S1-4 and then suffered for the remaining month of hellatus till S5 started, because I was by then totally dependent!
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? He's my favourite, and hurt!favourite is basically my lifestyle. XD Also, protective!Dean is love!
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Probably Hello Cruel World, but also Nightmare, All Hell Breaks Loose (1&2), When the Levee Breaks and The Born-Again Identity.
Favorite type of hurt? Sickness all the way! More specifically, FEVERS. That's what I love more than anything. And everything related, like weakness, dizziness, pallor, fever delirium, and so on. Also all the H/C, with Dean (anyone, really, but especially Dean of course) blotting Sam's forehead and taking care of him.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Trial and Error and Pac-Man Fever.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? What I'd like to see more than anything is some explanation as to why Sam didn't look for Dean, especially why Sam thought his brother was dead when all he'd seen in 7x23 was Dean just disappearing. And I mean some explanation that makes sense. Other than that, all I want is a well written finale. As for personal wishes, I wish a lot of bromance, more sick!Sam, like terminallyill!Sam, and I'd give my right arm for a forehead kiss.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? Continuity, characters IC, continuity, zero fanservice, continuity, no plot holes, and did I mention continuity? Also, Sam and Cas friendship. Actually, Sam getting a TON of friends.

When did you start watching Supernatural? The first episode I caught was the start of s4, Cas had just been summoned and I was like, wtf is this crap and didn't give SPN another thought till the summer before s6. Bored, nothing to watch I thought about SPN and that crap I had seen and decided to see what the hell it was about. Two and a half weeks later I had watched all five seasons and thrown myself into fandom.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? Season 1 how many times Sam was hurt, I just felt sorry because he seemed to have the worst luck and then I wanted more attention to it other than the boys shrugging it off.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Shadows, it's both physically and emotionally painful for everyone. Pac-Man Fever because it shows the kind of continuity with hurt that I've been wanting.
Favorite type of hurt? I'm horrible, I like the permanent injury type. I love the character development it brings when a few days of rest or taking it easy won't solve the problem. Also anything that's bad enough to put Sam in the hospital.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Pac-Man Fever hands down. It was full of hurt/sick Sam, Dean was the Dean that I love again and I love Charlie, she's the little sister trope done right and for only three eps she's had amazing character development.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? I'm not sure really, S8 has for me been the hit or miss season and frankly I blame Carver for it because he's thrown continuity to past seasons out the window and he's ignored established mechanics to the SPN world. So I guess what I want is a story that feels like it belongs in the world that Kripke created.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? I would like to see Jody Mills again, Garth, Charlie. I want these characters to become more regular on the show. The one really good thing S8 has done is given the boys a sense of stability and maturity with the MoL storyline, I want that to keep going in s9 by letting them continue to put down roots and establish a life for themselves where if feels like for once it's their choice and not a predetermined destiny. And I know I haven't talked about Cas much but I want human!Cas finally to happen.

When did you start watching Supernatural? Late 2009. It was right after the Curious Case of Dean Winchester. I caught up in a week.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? The brother dynamic intrigued me from the beginning. I love Sam the most but I also adore Dean and they are at their best when Dean is taking care of his little brother.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)?Too many to count. Skin, Bad Day at Black Rock, Heart, Croatoan, Born Under a Bad Sign, Point of No Return, The Song Remains the Same,The Born Again Identity, and, of course, Pac Man Fever.
Favorite type of hurt? I don't know that they have ever done this on the show, but in fic, I love Sam-in-a-box. He gets all claustrophobic and panicky and then when Dean gets him out, he is all clingy and sore and massage happens. In the show, I love it when Sam is half conscious. He is still aware but wobbly and Dean has to support him. Also, I love feverish Sam
Favorite episode thus far in the season? It has to be Pac Man Fever. I love Charlie. Plus the sick Sam is delicious. I love it when he looks five... I also am pretty much constantly squeeing about the hobbit angle. But I also loved Taxi Driver.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? Broments! So many Broments. A lot of you are expressing a certain dissatisfaction with the earlier half of the season and I totally agree with you. I keep coming back because of Sam and Dean and it almost physically hurts when they are at odds. I also would really like them to resolve the Crowley issue. A big bad has never lasted this long. We have spent more time with him than YED and Lucifer and I think that is wrong.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated?I want more Charlie, Garth and Jodie. And I want Sam to make some real world connections. It seems like every guest star lately has been bonding exclusively with Dean. And while I am happy that Dean is being less emotionally constipated(beautiful, beautiful hugs), I am sad that Sam is being left out. He cares for Charlie and she cares for him but that relationship has now been overshadowed by her deep personal connection with Dean. I am hoping that if Jodie comes back, she will continue the bond she has with Sam because he doesn't deserve to have everybody push him into the background. I am also kind of hoping that we get a better resolution to the Sam/Amelia storyline. I am kind of hoping that he ran afoul of something really bad while searching for Dean, something he would have faced if dean was beside him and he was actually running scared when he hit the dog. But so long as he got out of hunting, it wouldn't come after him. I think it could be a good segue into big bad for season 9. Mainly, I just though it was really IC for Sam and I want another explanation...

What drew you to love hurt!Sam? I'm not really sure, to be honest. I guess in said episode, Drunk!Sam intrigued me and got me into the psychological!hurt at first.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Skin, Devil's Trap, Simon Said, Bad Day at Black Rock, A Very Supernatural Christmas (believe it or not), Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie, The Born Again Identity
Favorite type of hurt? tie between Sick!Sam and psychological hurt
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Pac-Man Fever
What would you like to see happen in the finale? I'd love to see Sam with a very important role, getting through the trials and even if it deteriorates him further, that he NOT be killed off (because honestly I'm getting tired of that and don't want a Swan Song redux *g*). I'd like him and Dean working on the same side toward the same goal.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? I'm trying to go into season 9 positive. I'm hoping SPN won't suffer the burnout I've seen some of my other favorite shows suffer at this point. I think I'd like to see more of the Sam/Dean brotherly goodness we've had these past few episodes, as well as less angels and if Crowley sticks around, that he's not like a cliched cartoon character.

I got to Skin and then went to the trusty internet and watched every episode. have watched every episode via the internet since Fallen Idols
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? I discovered i was a Sam girl pretty quickly, but i think it was Bloody Mary and Skin that had me hooked

Brother moments galore please, a proper resolution to why Sam left Dean, who was watching Sam when he left Amelia's place and where did Sam get all this extra knowledge he seems to have (Reverse exorcism & Mythology) as he was supposed to be settled with Amelia for the better part of the year Dean was in Purgatory?
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? Brother moments, Sam and Dean fighting the Big Bad together more Jodie Miles. Cas finding his place with the Winchesters, more Men of Letters and the Bat Cave, more Charlie & Kevin. And i'd like Meg to not really be dead, she's one of the few characters that remains from Season 1. Oh, and I'd love to see Gabriel back too

(Sadly) that was Amelia's husband. In an interview Carver said "all will be revealed about who was watching the house in the Torn and Frayed". It was explicitly stated, but he's the only one it could have been. I think Carver thought it would be a major reveal to have Don return,,but...er...nah. Not so much.

And the the extra knowledge was just "handy" for the story. Believe me, I was pretty upset when that whole storyline came to an end and it added up to nothing.

Of course - they might have more up their sleeves, but I don't think so.

When did you start watching Supernatural? Spring of 2011. I borrowed a friend's DVDs and watched seasons 1-5 in a matter of about 5 weeks. Season 6 was still airing and I couldn't wait for it to end and the DVDs to come out so I bought a season pass from Amazon Video and caught up just in time to watch the live airing of "The Man Who Would Be King".
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? He's such a woobie and I love his puppy eyes. Also, to hurt Sam is to hurt Dean so it brings out all the things I love most about the brothers' relationship. Finally, I love to see Sam get comforted because I feel like he's been dealt such a terrible hand in life, starting with losing his mom as a baby and therefore growing up without all the comfort having a loving mother grants a child.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Gosh, it's hard to pick. I loved "The Born Again Identity." But my absolute favorite is probably "When the Levee Breaks". There's no comfort there, but tons of hurt for both brothers and I think it gives so much fantastic insight into Sam's character and addiction when he's hallucinating in the panic room. Also, that little moment where Sam takes Bobby's gun and points it directly at his own heart, almost begging Bobby to stop him? Gah! Obliterated by feels every time.
Favorite type of hurt? Life threatening illness/injury with a side of Sam wanting to stay for Dean but being tempted just a bit by the promise of it all just being over.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? "Trial and Error". The speeches the brothers gave each other, Dean insisting his happy ending is Sam living and getting out of the life, his determination to protect Sam from the trials, Sam getting to save Dean from a hellhound and be strong for his big brother, and the fear in Dean's eyes after Sam finishes the first trial. Everything about that episode was perfect to me.
What would you like to see happen in the finale?I'm spoiler-free and trying to stay that way. I don't have my heart set on any details but I would like Sam to finish the final trial and succeed at closing the gates to hell. And survive. He and Dean both survive and have the hope of someday getting out.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? I'm guessing it'll have to do with the angel tablet and maybe the gates of heaven but I really don't know what to expect. The potential for Dean doing tasks to close the gates of hell is intriguing and nice symmetry with Sam being Lucifer's vessel and Dean being Michael's.

Oooh, that's really interesting. I reckon that'll be exactly what they will do. Dean has always been aligned to heaven and Sam to hell (poor Sammy). Yeah - I can definitely see that happening.

What drew you to love hurt!Sam? HE JUST HURTS SO PRETTY, GUYS. Also, Jared legit sounds like he's getting off whenever Sam is making hurt noises.

Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? NGL, I wanna see more Hallucifer. In a SLIGHTLY less "Make Sam kill himself" way. More of a "I'm not actually schizophrenic, but Lucifer really does like to sing me to sleep" way.

When did you start watching Supernatural? When I hooked up with a fellow LOTR fan during a moot, and she brought the first season on DVD.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? Frankly, the way that a hurt Sam absolutely BREAKS Dean! I love how protective Dean is of him.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Does mental hurt count? Because I liked the episode where Hallucifer finally causes a psychotic breakdown and lands Sam in a mental ward.
Favorite type of hurt? The psychic vision headaches. Damn, I miss him being psychic, and all the different ways that tortured him.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? The one coming on tomorrow, I think. :) He actually collapses in this one, if you watched to the promo.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? That as painful as this "transformation" is, it doesn't kill him. Maybe it improves him, somehow.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? If at all possible, make Sam psychic again, but I know they probably won't.

If I had a GIF of it, I would use S2's "What Is and What Should Never Be," when Sam's head bounced off the stairs while fighting the Djinn. I thought his skull would crack, that looked so painful!

What drew you to love hurt!Sam? The look on his face when Dean punched him in Bloodlust. I really go for emo-hurt Sammy. Or maybe when he stitched himself up in Mystery Spot....
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Long list..... Free To Be You And Me, Sympathy for the Devil- the look on his face when Bobby cut him out and Dean said nothing. Or the end..... SO much exquisite pain..... The Man Who Knew Too Much- Hell Sam was so broken. When the Levee Breaks- when he's being tortured. PacMan Fever- OMG sick bed head Sammy....

What would you like to see happen in the finale? 1. Naomi did something to Sam to make him stop looking for Dean!!!!! SO OOC that he abandoned Dean. 2. Dean stops the trials, for the first time they put each other ahead of the world- Let It Burn. Something along the lines of We'll kill 'em one by one like we used to, not giving you up again! Maybe they find out that shutting the gates of hell would put Sam in hell with his demon blood? Dean refuses to let it happen again.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? NO separations- I like it so much better when the Winchesters are on the same page. I like Cas, but having him in every episode would be too much for me, unless they're going to let Sam be part of the club. I'd like to see more of the MOL- Sam loves it. I'd like to see a return to the demon blood- Sam finally being able to use it for good.

Oh yes yes...give us SOME reason why Sam did what he did. I mean, I get that there could be great reasons for it, it's just that they didn't give us any. And I like the idea that Dean might want to stop the trials if they meant killing Sam. I just hope he doesn't sacrifice himself and leave Sam with the guilt of that. Arghh - so much potential. can't wait to see what happens.

When did you start watching Supernatural? Mid way through Season 1. My brother in law at the time told me about this cool show w. hot guys and ghosts…lol. I inhaled all episodes during that xmas break and then googled fan fiction cause I KNEW the internet would provide!

What drew you to love hurt! Sam? Gosh, Im not sure. I think it has to do with how insanely Dean reacts to any type of hurt Sammy. I remember watching Home and when that cord strangles Sam, I was like yikes…but when Dean reacts to it and goes barging into the house determined to save his brother, I was like WHOAH wtf? One of my ovaries stood up and went @@! The Benders episode cemented it for me. I remember thinking that Jensen had picked a very unique way of expressing his relationship with Sam. No other tv show or movie had presented brothers like that and I was intrigued. Later when you learn that Dean had literally raised Sam on his own (pretty much) and was basically his Mother figure to him. That intensified the curiosity as far as how these two react to one another. I still think psychologically speaking its one of the more interesting aspects to their characters.


Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? The Benders, Hunted, Home, Skin, Bad day at Black Rock, Mystery Spot, After school special, All Hell Breaks loose pt2.

Favorite type of hurt? My Sammy sadism is not picky, but I do prefer psychological hurt a little more than physical because it’s harder to deal with. And if any character out there in Tv Land has issues, its Sam.

What would you like to see happen in the finale? Honestly, as long as the boys continue to be together like they have been lately and NEITHER one dies, then im happy.

Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? If this is my wish list then Im gonna be honest here. Ive been waiting for the Cass officially falls and becomes human storyline for some time now. Maybe he can become the Bat cave librarian? I would love to see Gabriel come back. I would love for the trials to have some permanent effect on Sam. A lot of my aggravation these past seasons have been tied to the way they have written Sam as this Teflon type of personality. Destined from birth to be the meat suit for SATAN, eh hes ok. Spend centuries in Hell being his bitch, eh hes ok, have crippling memories of said torture, eh hes ok. Your brother disappears mysteriously, eh hes ok—hes just banging an ugly veterinarian. Its hard to take his suffering seriously when nothing ever sticks. Which is why my sadist little heart was practically giddy over last episode when we FINALLY had some physical proof of the toll these trials are taking on him. This should have been shown like 2 seasons ago. If I truly got to make a bucket list I would put us finding out that the whole Amelia fiasco was nothing more than a product of Sams broken psyche and she never existed. He was being manipulated by someone the whole time…. maybe Naomi? NOTHING about that stupid storyline makes any sense yo!!!

I forgot to mention that they need to leave the batcave ALONE and keep it their sacred little space. I LOVE the batcave and it makes so much sense for them to finally have a home. The fact that its a super Sekret legacy from their G.parents with all kinds of hidden lore makes it that much more special.

When did you start watching Supernatural? started watching the first season during the second season, catching up to What Is and What Should Never Be. I started as a Dean girl, so I was sobbing. Little did I know that was only the beginning.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? He just hurts so pretty. I mean it helps that Jared is playing the role, but to see Sam break...there's just something exquisite about it.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? When The Levee breaks, Swan Song, The Man Who Knew Too Much and Heart.
Favorite type of hurt? psychological. I mean, I like it all, but psychological is my favorite. I was really hoping we'd see more of Sam's break I the end of season 6 and season 7.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Trial and Error or Torn and Frayed.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? I haven't thought much about it, other than I want more hurt!Sam because of / with the trials. And Dean caring for him, of course.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? again, haven't really thought that far ahead, but like a few people here, I'm hoping Crowley's storyline wrap up. I love Mark Sheppard, don't get me wrong, but it's getting a little thin.

What drew you to love hurt!Sam? The first episode when Sam had been chewed up a little by the Woman in White ghost, and then he'd driven the Impala through the old house to stop the W.I.W, the look on Dean's face! Cause I like my H/C accompanied by big bro Dean. It was solidified by catching, by chance, the ending of All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 1. It was solidly set in stone then.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Bloody Mary is still one of my favorites. I love contrite, grieving Sam. I also really have enjoyed all the latter episodes of Season 8. But I think my favorite ep for Sam H/C is still either Simon Said or Bad Day at Black Rock.
Favorite type of hurt?Oh wow... hm.... psychic power side effects, illness or gunshot wound.

When did you start watching Supernatural? Last February. I rushed through the series in time to catch the Season 7 finale the day it aired.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? I have no idea, but I think it's the same thing that drew me to love seeing any of my favorite characters hurt.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Fresh Blood, A Very Supernatural Christmas, Jump the Shark, The Born-Again Identity, and The Great Escapist. To name a few.
Favorite type of hurt? Kidnapping, physical pain. Torture is always nice.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? Goodbye Stranger, hands down.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? I'm kind of feeling like we're overdue for a Winchester death. I want Sam's trialberculosis to get resolved. Those two things may or may not be related.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? I'm excited and I hope the show starts building up toward the series finale a bit. I want the world at large to learn about the supernatural. More bromance (can they top the number of hugs that had this season?). Sam/Cas friendship. Sam having friends in general. The return of some dead/MIA characters. Can we have Lucifer back, too? And, um, I still want one of the boys to become a father at some point (because Emma doesn't count).

HA! "overdue a Winchester Death". I have to say I hope they don't kill Sam. We did have Dean disappear (kinda like dying) at the end of last season, so another death will feel like overkill(heh, quite literally). I'm hoping they continue along the lines of Sam transforming - that could end up being really interesting. :)

I'd LOVE to see Lucifer back. And Adam. (and I thought Sam was going to be a dad. I thought that's where the Amelia story line was heading).

When did you start watching Supernatural? The day Pilot aired. *-* The title of the show drew bestie and me in. My mom told me it was obviously made with me.
What drew you to love hurt!Sam? Because it's Sam. Mostly because he was my favorite character from the very beginning and I like my favorite characters hurt. heh. And he just looks so lovely with those puppy dog eyes.

What would you like to see happen in the finale? Sam not dead. I have no thoughts about the Finale itself other than just wanting the guys to stay alive. And possibly seeing Garth again because I just love him. I didn't even realize we were so close to the finale until the preview told us "final 2 episodes" and we were all O_O WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? lol, idek. They're not going to actually do the things I want. I still want closure for a lot of the things from Seasons 5 and 6. Yes yes. It's been so great to see them being competent and kickass. I like that they've mixed in some h/c at the end of the season. They've really upped the stakes as we are heading toward the finale. Can't wait to see what they do.

What drew you to love hurt!Sam? I know it's been said before, but he hurts so pretty. I can't get enough.
Favorite hurt!Sam episode(s)? Maybe the newest ones from Season 8. I'm so happy about them, can't tell.
Favorite type of hurt? Everything. Emotional suffering and the mysterious pain, like headaches or trials. And demon blood addiction plus his doubts and worries about being evil.
Favorite episode thus far in the season? The last one - The Escapist.
What would you like to see happen in the finale? Lots of hurt Sam, collapsing and suffering Sam. Something about his demon blood and an unsolvable problem. (Which makes him hurt more.) I'd like to see some desperate Dean as well, and kind of a conclusion. (I fear the cliffhanger.) Absolutely I'd love to see Amelia turning out to be a demon, working for Crowley. This would make sense.
Overall thoughts on Season 9? What would you like to see incorporated? The mythology arc expending. More about the destination of the brothers. Lucifer, Michael and Adam returning. Flashbacks from the cage. Sam getting new abilities. (Or getting his visions back, and the headaches - I'd love to see that.) Demon Blood Addiction returning.
And lots of H/C, brotherly hugs, brotherly love, co-dependency, and sad, meaningful glances. (I'll stop here, because I'm already repeating myself, but I could go on forever.)
