Congratulations! littlebro members, we have successfully reached our target 500 goal before the season 7 premiere! To celebrate we are having a meme about none other than our boy Sammy and what we hope and expect from season 7.

First though we at spn_littlebro want to thank a few people who have made this possible: khakigrrl and winchesterhaunt for providing us with so many delicious recs, el1ie for providing us with our pimping banners, graphics and giving us much needed feedback on the community, and lastly, to beckalooby who really helped in the beginning with all our graphics.

I personally would like to thank harrigan for getting our newsletters all put together and ready and making our community more grammatically correct with her awesome beta eyes! Next I would like to thank all our maintainers in this community who really help keep it running and always provide new ideas, vail_kagami, dontknowmyname, mlebayre, rainyrocket, and varkelton

Last but certainly not least is ash48, she is the big cheese of the operation and it was her genius who came up with the whole idea and I think she's done a fabulous job so far! Agree? Agreed!

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): I have a couple, my first for canon being that hurt we saw in Hunted. I just have the biggest kink for hunters hurting Sam and Dean protecting him from that! Other than that Skin racks up pretty high as well as The Man Who Knew Too Much.Also the visions in general have always been a favorite of mine and that moment in home? The electrical cord or all the times Sam's been choked. Fanfiction though it's harder but I will say Rachelly's Ambush has always been a top favorite cause have you read it?! It has hurt!Sam out the butt loads \0/
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): Probably the benders when Dean says, "If you hurt my brother I'll kill you all" it was a really emotionally ground breaking movement to see such fire from Dean. Other than that hunted again cause guh....Dean in that chair. In fanfiction I have to say ALL protective!Dean cause what's the fun in hurting Sam without hurt/comfort from Dean? But I will also note sammygirl1963 on ff.net has a really awesome comforting/caring Dean I absolutely LOVE in her stories.
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: I hope we see his progression with the wall. I would hate the writers to slip it under the carpet or whatever like they've done with other things in the past and I'd also hope to see Sam's POV on things since so much we get things from Dean's perspective.
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: A bunch! Haha what I hate though is we get hurt but not hurt/comfort. I mean we have see Sam comfort Dean after some hurt I just want an episode where Sam is hurt and or injured in some way and we actually see some hurt/comfort or patching up from Dean. Though I really want to see some hospitalization I mean come on...we got Dean numerous times I want to see Sammy in a hospital bed.
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: In general I want the brothers to be closer than ever, and don't let anything break them like it has been these last few seasons. I want Cas handled in a fashion that isn't dictated by his fans. And that the writers take care of him in a real way instead if just saying oh Cas is the good old innocent Cas again. I'd probably hate that. And more MOTW type deals like season one. I crave that so badly.

I agree with all of the above...they do dish out the hurt pretty gratuitously in the show, but we don't get any aftermath, and when we do, it's generally Dean-centric, because imho, the show is meaner to Dean than to Sam (hopefully with the exception of season 7!!!), meaning that while the hoodietime community can have a field day with an abundance of source material (and good for them, don't get me wrong, because I've written for them too), we're left a little higher and dryer here.

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon): The angst,confusion and abuse he suffered at the hand of the shape-shifter pretending to be Dean. Also enjoyed the chloroforming from Doc Benson... and the "Jump The Shark" tied-to-the-table-and-bleeding-out scene. Of course, he did look kinda hot with Luther's arm locked around his neck...
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon): I loved the part in "Hunted" where Dean's tied to the chair and Gordon's taunting him about hurting Sam and Dean is just seething. And the way he cradles Sam's face after the encounter and starts off after Gordon... guh.
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?:I wouldn't be adverse to a wee bit of Castiel you-stabbed-me-in-the-back revenge.
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?:Drugged, kidnapped, tied up, unconscious. I'd kill for another shape-shifter debacle.
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: I want some closure on the Adam issue--and please, please, please... let the "Samulet" reappear.

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): Oh geez...hard to decide. I think I particularly love the scene in "Simon Said" when Sam is in pain and turns towards Dean who catches him as he falls. *happy sigh*
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): Probably the above. Really, anywhere he offers physical comfort.
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: I wanna see him suffer! I mean... *cough* Uh... I'd like to see him struggling from the collapse of the wall. We've already seen Sam kick ass and odds by making it to his brother despite hell raging within him, I'd like to see him a little dependent on Dean for awhile. And in return, I'd like to see Dean smother him in big brother awesome. After all, the hurt is only as good as the comfort.
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: I am such a sucker for hypothermia Sam fics. *shrugs* I guess it gives a good reason for some gen cuddling. I'd LOVE to see this on the show. Love love LOVE. Is there a hypothermia Sam section here?? *runs to look*
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: The boys leaning into each other for strength, instead of away.

After all, the hurt is only as good as the comfort.

SO true! I've been saying this for years! We get some hurt which yeah it's awesome but what I love the most about hurt!Sam is comforting/protective Dean which we rarely see. It's always nice to see Dean act out of normal in his usually gruff, no chick flick matter and take care of/comfort Sam. I think it honestly gives him depth.

Plus to answer your question yes we do! We tag all our recs in our delicious account which you can find on our sidebar, and each tag has a hurt tag. So just find the one that says h=hypothermia!

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): There's so bloody much! 6x22 has become one of my very favorites because it's mental hurting really and I've started to like that now. But I love other kinds of hurt too. Gotten a strange kink for bloody Sam lol. The opening of 6x14 (Mannequin) is def. my very favorite moment though. Also mental hurting though heh. Surprisingly I found hurt soullessSam kinda hot too. This time more because he would be right up again and keep going until they restrained him despite getting hurt in the process. Way hot and badass.
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): 6x14 opening. That was really something I've ever wanted because I think I might have a kink for knocked out Sam (blame fanfiction) and Dean freaking the hell out. Did feel like something out of a fic too, but it was epic! And he stroke Sam's hair damnit. It was just too precious!
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: I want to see him (and Dean) hurting with the wall being down, but trying to get things right. Anything but sweeping it under the carpet like with the supposed "forever changed" after taking out Lilith.
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: I want a scene where Dean patches Sam up in the motel room. Just for once! And to begin with I didn't really care, but the other limp sam fangirls have convinced me that I too want hospitalized Sam. I mean everyone's been in there but him! It's highly frustrating for a hurt Sam fangirl! You all know that! And of course hurting from the memories of Hell and some real hurt too though lol. Poor Dean would have a living hell if a hellridden Sam gets hurt as well XD
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: Brotherly moments! I crave them soooo much!! It's really on the very top of my list!! Protective Dean! Gosh protective Dean is freaking sexy haha. Maybe some kind of way to see Soulless Sam again. Not for long, but I for one loved him! MARK PELLEGRINO!! As hell memories or whatnot. I just really wanna see him again!! Gabriel!!

Congrats! I know I'm not much of a reccer but if I want hurt!Sam I always know where to turn for quality and good organisation and that is awesome!

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): Haaard....I'm going for a few:, "Mystery Spot" after he notices that its Wednesday and he can't get Dean back and turns into Terminator!Sam (ohh my heart) similary the flashbacks in "I know what you did last summer, in both Sam stitching his own wounds (guh...this shouldn't be as sexy and heartbreaking as it is) and the whole of "Free to be you and me", especially the part with the hunters and Jess/Lucifer
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): Deans apology in the "green room", any and all hugs (but especially in "Like a Virgin"), Swan Song...just Swan Song *cries*, always when Dean goades him into eating/drinking/having fun^^
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: That he survives/defeats the effects of the wall by strenght of will aided by copious amounts of Dean being stealthily protective/supportive
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: captured by other hunters as monster! come on people we got teased with this a lot, I mean he did get kidnapped by the vegetarian vampires and kinda tied up by jesus freak and threatened by the hunters, but no actual kidnapping! what gives?
Something we didn't even get a glimpse would be having to face up how much he has changed by meeting old stanford friends who maybe think hes scary...because he puts so much of his selfworth into seeming nice/friendly etc. (and there is so much Dean reassuring potential there^^)
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: I'm going to let myself be totally suprised because I'm sure what the writers think up will be awesome.....except for a crossdressing episode! Jared said (in a coffee lounge, when asked^^) he would totally do one if it makes sense in an episode XD (even though he said he doesn't know why someone would want to see him in a dress because he thinks it would look terrible)

We HAVE to have some kidnapped Sam at least. I mean blood lust doesn't count and even though I absolutely loved BDABR with jesus freak it's not an actual kidnapping. I'd love to see hunters kidnap Sam cause they think he's evil in some way or I always loved the thought of someone using Sam as bait to get to Dean.

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): The choke scene in Home is definitely an all time favourite. As is the vision scenes from Nightmare and Simon Said. Also Skin and Hookman with the epic fight scenes and kidnapped Sam. HOTH, that little bro scene after Dean finds Sam on the floor out cold. BDABR, that whole episode... And the list could go on. :P
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): JTS rescue scene. AVSC, when he yells Sammy as Sam gets his nail ripped out. Nightmare, the final scene or when he puts his hand on Sams chest as they cross the road, such a casual moment, yet so brotherly. Also when he catches Sam in Simon Said as he has one of his visons and when Sam is sitting by the tree and Dean has a hand on his back. Or when he is standing beside him ashe finishes getting treated. BM when he tells Sam Jessicas death was not his fault and later when he rescuses Sam and then he runs over to him, saying Sammy and takes his head in head in his hands and brushes the blood away from Sams eye with his thumb. Also liked in Provenance when he told Sam that Jessica would want him to be happy and it would be okay for him if he tried to date with Sarah. Ghostfacers when he searches for Sam and later when he finds him we see Dean giving these concerned glances, also the brotherly touching after the spirit is gone. \o/ Yeah got a little wordy here. LOL
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: Him suffering naturally. LOL Well basically I want to see how he deals with hell memories and how he tries to cope with his halucinations. And I would like to see how he deals with God!stiel and what was done to him. Basically anything with his POV would be great. Big brother Dean would be great too while I am at it. Oh and hurt/comfort, comfort specifically after the hurt, also wanted. ;-)
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: Drowning Sam. Yeah I know meanie but hey wet Sam and unconsious Sam, maybe even perfomed CR on, what is not to love? Kidnapped Sam, drugged Sam and... hospitalized Sam, Sam getting patched up by someone, Dean preferably, but I am not picky. Oh and lets add Tied up!Sam to that list too.
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: Focus on the boys, less angels, scary monsters and ghosts, basically going back to the horror roots.

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): Mm...probably Jump the Shark. I was so very irritated that they didn't extend that scene...because the second Dean went to help him, all the crap that had built up between them in season 4 fell away and you could still see where their priorities lie, and that's with each other...Plus, Dean calling Sam "buddy" was unbelievably cute.
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): Dang...that's hard. I am in fact a Dean-girl, and this is my favorite way to see Dean because it always brings out the best in him in fics and in the show...Well to name a few-basically the entirety of both parts of AHBL- when he catches Sam when he dies, the "what am I supposed to do" speech, how paranoid he was for Sam when Sam woke up, and the whole don't-tell-me-I-was-wrong-to-make-a-deal-for-you speech at the very end of 2.22. Oh, and anything and everything in s6 having to do with the wall issues...specifically in Mannequin before Sam's woken up (he looks so heartbroken), and then of course his reluctance to leave Sam behind in 6.22.
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: Wall-issues FTW. Jared really impressed me with his acting in 6.22, specifically portraying the complete hopelessness and brokenness "hell-Sam," and I think there's so much he could do with that.
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: Okay, unoriginal answer, but I'm voting hospitalization too, or at least repercussions of an injury/illness. We get that a whole lot with Dean, and it's lovely when they do it because it's Sam who gets all protective, but come ON. It's barely ever happened the other way around because I have this theory that the writers of the show must've given Sam these magical self-healing abilities and it's irritating the crap out of me and all I have are fanfics to fill the void within me.
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: I'm not allowed to dish spoilers, but if you've read any, I'm pretty happy with what it's shaping up to look like. What I WANT to see is a few characters coming back...Missouri please? Chuck coming in to tell Cas off for pretending to be him? And *gasp* Sarah Blake, maybe? And no more heart-wrenching deaths pretty please. I can't take it anymore.

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): Hmmm... I'd probably have to go with the scene in Jump the Shark. I mean... tied and tortured? Come on! Though the strangulation scene in Home, the torture scene in the Christmas ep, Sam facing shapeshifter!Dean in Skin and the scene with Meg in Shadow are right up there. :D
Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): Oh my. SO many. I adore protective!Dean and as much as I profess my love for Sam and adore Dean (nearly) as much. Ok so. Pretty much all of Nightmare - even down to that little moment when Dean puts his arm out to stop Sam crossing the road. Tiny but it speaks volumes for ever watchful eye over Sam. I also love teen!Dean in After School Special. Especially his reaction to knowing Sam got hit (both times!). Then there's anytime he says "leave him alone", or "I'll kill you if you hurt my brother" - including that thunderous look he gives the hunters when they shoot Sam in Dark Side of the Moon. They are but a few..
What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: Hmm...Just seeing him will be enough. *g* I think I'd mostly like to see him deal with the wall coming down - moving on because he's strong like that. I hope he doesn't suffer too much guilt from anything he did whilst soulless.
What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: Well, we've all voiced hospitalisation so a big yes on that. I have a thing for restraint so...um.. that would make me happy. :D (throw in gagged and I'll be positively bouncy).
In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: Saving people, hunting things. Good, old fashioned MoTW stories. Genuine surprises and lots of bromance.

Favorite hurt!Sam moment (canon or fanfiction): I love mentally!traumatised!Sam the most, so When The Levee Breaks in its entirety, The Man Who Knew Too Much, and, oh, Sam's first ever vision in Nightmare.

Favorite protective!Dean moment (canon or fanfiction): I'm not sure if these exactly count as protective per se, but there are two moments in Show where Dean really shone as an awesome big brother for me: One, his heartbreaking monologues in both parts of All Hell Breaks Loose, both when he's holding a dying Sam in his arms, and when he's talking to Sam's corpse. Two, that moment in Home, where Dean saves Sam from being strangled by the poltergeist, and pulls a breathless, half-unconscious Sam into his arms.

What do you hope to see from Sam in S7?: Mental trauma! Hallucinations! Psychotic breaks! But mostly, more of that inner strength that's come to define him over the last six years.

What kind of hurt!Sam have you been dying to see on the Show?: I don't want anything aside from what Show's done. I just want MORE of it.

In general what do you want to see happening in season 7?: Can we get Adam back, please? And the amulet?

Anything else you want to say?: I've not been terribly vocal here, but I check this comm regularly, and it's lead to several hours of wonderful, wonderful hurt!Sam awesomeness. Thank you so much!

I think Levee Breaks might be one of my all time fav eps. The first time we ever really get an insight into Sam's brain. Everything that he's fighting against and with.

I just rewatched The Man Who Knew Too Much and seeing Hell!Sam is so heartbreaking. Jared really pulls that off so painfully well.

YES! I have been saying this since we've seen Dean in the hospital in season one, we have gotten three moments where Dean has been in a hospital bed! I really, really want to see Sam in there this time!
